The Nokia 2220 slide was an affordable feature phone that cost €45 when launched and It had an impressive standby time of 20 days. Support for Nokia’s Ovi Mail service was included allowing users to create an email account on the phone. Other features included an FM radio, VGA camera, GPRS and MMS support, a phone book for up to 1,000 contacts, and Bluetooth. The phone also supported Nokia’s Life Tools which allowed users living in small towns and rural areas of India and Indonesia to get a range of livelihood and life-improvement services on their mobile phones. Consumers were able to subscribe to Agriculture, Education and Entertainment information and content.
