The 40 Titanium was part of a range of Titanium-branded smartphones offered by Archos.
The company described them as being “feature-packed at an affordable price with a stylish, easy-grip and slim body design”.
Archos partnered with chipset maker MediaTek which it claimed made it possible to offer low-cost devices without losing key features.
The Titanium 40 was a 3G-capable dual-SIM phone with a four-inch display, dual-core processor, a five-megapixel camera and microSD card support.
It has an estimated retail price of €100 at launch.
