The Nokia 5070 was a phone targeted at the youth market and this was reflected in its €100 price. Nokia stated that it had focussed on messaging, leisure and personalization features to cater for the 'mobile social set'.
The phone offered voice messaging via Nokia’s Xpress Audio Messaging. It also supported MMS (mulitmedia messaging service) picture messaging, had a built-in VGA camera, web browser and an integrated FM radio.
The phone supported Java apps and had Sudoku pre-installed.
It came in two colours, red and blue.
