The CF-P1 was the first fully rugged Windows CE compatible Personal Digital Device (PDA) from Panasonic. The company described it as a “handheld computer.” It was a cellular-enabled product with support for the 2G General Packet Radio Service (GRPS). Additional attachments could be added to the CF-P1 including modules for GPS, an infrared (IrDA) reader or a barcode scanner.
