The STS CP832 is a variant of the (Philips) PCA P832T. This is considered to be one of the largest handheld portable mobile phones ever made (together with the Orbitel Citifone) and it was designed for use on US cellular networks using AMPS technology.  The phone featured a 25-character illuminated LCD display, and offered 60 minutes of talk time and six hours of standby time. It was described at launch as having a “heavy-duty design for reliability and performance”. It was manufactured in the USA by Philips Circuit Assemblies (PCA) which was a division of the North Americas Philips Corporation.
