The Motorola d460 (MG1-4A11) was released in 1998 and was a similar size to the MicroTAC range but lacked the flip plate that covered the keypad. Otherwise it was a basic feature phone with a screen that could display two lines of text.

It had a battery life offering 3.3 hours of talk time and 75 hours standby.
