The Ericsson DH368 was a dual-mode TDMA mobile phone for the North American market. It featured a flex-60mm high performance fixed antenna to “help prevent missed or dropped calls.” Ericsson claimed that it offered 75 percent more talk time compared to its analog predecessor.
The phone also had a “sleep mode” that Ericsson stated “offered up to three times more standby time”.
The Mobile Phone Museum has a rare unreleased prototype of this device in its collection. This variantof the phone is housed in a "Body Glove" case developed in partnership a wetsuit clothing company that Ericsson considered working with, however the product variant was never shipped.
The year of launch is not currently known but is estimated to be around 1996.
