The BT Diamond II was released in 1994 and was a rebranded Motorola MicroTAC phone. In addition to normal phone functions it provided automatic redial, a recent number memory that stored the last ten dialled numbers, an address book that could store up to 99 telephone numbers and associated names, audible call timers and access to network features such as the answer phone and call back services. Its battery offered 45 minutes of talk time and seven hours of standby.
