The E52 was very similar to the Nokia E55 but was a standard candy-bar phone rather than featuring a SureType hybrid keyboard similar to the
BlackBerry Pearl.
It was a 3G-capable device with support for HSDPA offering downlink speeds up to 10.2 Mbps and HSUPA delivering uplink speeds of up to 2Mbps.
It had a 2.4-inch display, GPS and Wi-Fi support as well as a three-megapixel camera. It also included noise cancellation technology to improve call quality.
At launch it cost €245 ($325).
