The Samsung G1000 (model number: SPH-G1000) was a gaming phone that was only available in South Korea. Its key feature was support for hardware-accelerated 3D gaming and the phone was optimised with dedicated game buttons on the side of the phone.
It was designed for use on CDMA 2000 1X networks. Other features included a 1.3-megapixel camera (with flash) able to record MPEG4 video, dual speakers, a 262,000 colour display and TV output support allowing users to connect the phone to a TV screen to enhance the gaming experience.
