The T-Mobile G2 Touch was a T-Mobile branded variant of the HTC Hero.  Having been the first network in the world to launch an Android smartphone (the T-Mobile G1) it was keen to extend its Android portfolio with this device. The phone's distinctive features were its “chin” and glowing trackball. Users were also delighted that if featured a 3.5mm jack to the phone, something that had been missing on the G1.
