The HTC 7 Surround was an exclusive device for the North American market sold by AT&T in the US and Telus in Canada. It was one of three Windows Phone 7 devices offered by AT&T. The design was based on an earlier HTC-manufacturerd device, the Google Nexus One. It featured a slide-out speaker and integrated kick-stand. It had a quirky design which aligned well with the marketing produced by HTC and AT&T which described the 7 Surround as "the ultimate multimedia device that blurs the line between home and mobile entertainment".
