With its 3.6-inch tilting screen, the Touch Pro2 had a striking resemblance to the Nokia N97. The industrial design was very similar to the HTC TyTN II and, in contrast to the Nokia N97, the viewing angle of the screen was adjustable. The device was designed for business users, and HTC integrated a software element called Straight Talk, which made it possible to initiate conference calls from e-mail messages and gain one-touch access to conference services that needed a PIN and passcode. The speakerphone could be turned on during a call by placing the phone face down. HTC claimed dual microphones, noise cancellation and stereo speakers offered one of the best speakerphone experiences on a mobile device at the time.
