The IO 3D was described by RoKiT as a "good budget savvy option" for customes in the UK and US markets where it was available.
The phone supported glasses-free built-in 3D capability enabling the viewer to enjoy 3D content without glasses in a similar way to other handsets such as the
HTC Evo 3D and the
LG Optimus 3D .
It supported 4G networks, had 16 GB of memory, dual-SIM support and a fingerprint sensor.
The 3D experience was served via lenticluar technology and the pre-installed ROKiT Launch app that enabling ROKiT Talk and other core services. This was the model that sat under it's bigger brother, the
IO Pro 3D.
