The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) – model number: SM-J510FN – replaced its predecessor, the
Samsung Galaxy J5 (2015). It had a metal frame and featured a larger battery and more memory. The device featured the same 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-mega-pixel front-facing camera as on the earlier model. It also featured a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display.
The phone was initially announced in China but later in other markets including Europe. It was available in gold, white and pink.
