Liquid S100

The Liquid S100 was Acer’s first Android smartphone. It was also the first device featuring the Android operating system to be powered by Qualcomm’s 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. At launch it was described as “the fastest Android phone on the planet”. It featured a 3.5-inch display with four touch sensitive buttons across the bottom of the screen. Initially the phone was only available in white (this is the variant in the museum collection) – but later red and black variant were introduced.
