The Motorola m301 was introduced in 1995 specifically for the Mercury one2one network where it succeeded the Motorola M300. Its LCD screen could display two lines of text with an additional icon for signal strength. The address book could store up to 99 telephone numbers and associated names with fast dial access and last number redial. It was designed for use on the one2one GSM1800 network in the UK. It had a battery life that offered 1 hour and 10 minutes of talk time and 12 hour standby time.
