Model number: MT-997FOR6A The Mitsubishi MT-7 (model number: MT-997FOR6A) was introduced in 1993. In addition to the normal phone functions it had an address book that could store up to 99 telephone numbers and associated names with speed dial access and the ability to search the entries by name. It offered a clock with alarm function and a range of call timers. It was approved for connection to any ETACS analogue network such as those provided by Cellnet and Vodafone in the UK. The MT-7 earned Mitsubishi three Caesar Awards from the UK operator, Cellnet. These were the winner's trophy in the "call security" section and awards of merit in both the "features innovation" and "clarity of user documentation" sections.
