The Alcatel One Touch 230 was a basic dual-band GSM Flip which was one of Alcatel’s numerous fashion-orientated phones. It was a metallic fuchsia pink colour with concentric circles on the flip cover which illuminated when a call was received (blue light) or a text message arrived (orange light). It had an extremely shiny keyboard, also featuring a circular motif and a basic 4,000-colour display.
The phone was extremely basic with no camera, music player, Bluetooth or USB connectivity. It was shipped with two rather sluggish Java games and 20 on-board ringtones. It was not possible to add additional games or wallpapers.
