The Emporia RL1 (also known as the VF1) was an easy-to-use talk and text phone with large, clearly labelled buttons. It was primarily aimed at older users, but also to consumers who did not want the complexity of a smartphone. It had dual-band (900MHz / 1800MHz) GSM support. Additional features were a calendar, alarm clock and built-in torch which could be activated from a dedicated button on the side of the phone.
