The S8300 Ultra Touch (also known as the Tocco Ultra) was part of Samsung’s "style" category of devices. It was a successor to the Samsung Soul which had been announced a year earlier. It had an AMOLED touchscreen and was one of the first phones with a touchscreen display and a slide-out keypad. It used Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface.
It featured an eight-megapixel camera with auto-focus, face detection & smile-shot and a wide range of multimedia functions. It also had an integrated music player and Google Maps was pre-installed.
The design deviated little from Samsung's established formula for slider phones.
