The M110 “Solid” was a basic GSM phone supporting EDGE / GPRS data, a 240 x 320 screen, Bluetooth, a VGA camera and FM tuner. When it was launched, one leading publication described it as a “boring” phone.
It was Samsung’s first “ultra-durable handset” and was resistant to dust and water ingress as well as being able to withstand a one metre drop onto a concrete surface.
