The Siemens C5 was the most popular phone on Germany’s C-Netz network which used the C450 standard and was active from 1985 to 2000. It was sold in two variants, a transportable version known as the C5-Office which was available from 1991, and a car phone known as the C5-Car which started shipping in 1992.
It was manufactured from 1991-1998 and the transceiver was capable of an output of up to 15 watts.
