Sony Ericsson announced the Walkman-branded W580 – a GSM / EDGE phone - at the CTIA Wireless Show in Orlando, Florida in April 2007. It was a new form factor for Sony Ericsson and at 14mm thick it offers another thin device in the Sony Ericsson portfolio in addition to the W880. It featured a two-megapixel camera, FM radio and shipped with a 512MB Sony M2 Memory Stick Micro card. One of the devices in the Mobile Phone Museum collection is an AT&T-branded variant.
