Features

The ultra-slim 5.15 mm thick Kazam Tornado 348 was a rebranded version of the Gionee Elife S5.1. Although the market was transitioning to 4G when it was announced, the Tornado 348 was only 3G capable. This made it more affordable, but also limited its appeal with mobile network operators keen to get subscribers onto their new 4G networks. The phone used a MediaTek octa-core processor and MediaTek regularly showcased the device at its media events. Powered by Android, it had a 4.8 inch 1280 x 720-pixel display, an eight-megapixel main camera and a five-megapixel front-facing camera. Other features included Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and an FM radio. It was available in black or white (both of which are included in the Mobile Phone Museum collection).
