Philips described the Xenium W732 as “the answer to all your smart phone fantasies”.
This 3G capable Android-powered dual SIM phone had a 4.3-inch display and five-megapixel camera.
When launched, the phone was considered to have huge 2,400mAh battery which provided 13 hours of continuous talk time or 10.5 hours of web browsing on a single charge.
It was initially available in China and Russia as was offered in five colours - black, white, pink, blue and green. It was offered in other markets later.
The phone in the Mobile Phone Museum collection is curiously branded Xenium 9@9 on the side of the device – but the official brochure (see below) only shows Xenium. It is important to note that the
Xenium 9@9 was a feature phone released by Philips 12 years early in the year 2000.
