At launch, Samsung described the Z400 as a “stylish 3G mobile with rich features and an elegant design” as well being “the ultimate synthesis of business function and executive style.”
It supported key features needed for 3G including video telephony and streaming. The phone, which had a two-inch 262k colour display, included a two-megapixel camera, and an external microSD card slot for additional storage. It also included a document viewer, Bluetooth support and TV-output capability.
The device in the Mobile Phone Museum collection is a T-Mobile branded variant.
