The Nokia 220 was a basic €29 (US$40) phone which had a a dust- and splash-proof keypad.
It had a basic web browser apps for Facebook and Twitter. Other features included a two-megapixel camera (which could record video), microSD card support for up to 32 GB of storage, an FM radio, 2G GPRS and Bluetooth.
The battery performance was phenomenal, boasting up to 29 days of stand-by, 15 hours of talk time and over 50 hours of music playback.
It was available in black, white, red, yellow, and blue.
