The Nokia 3710 fold (Type: RM-509) was described by Nokia as “balancing appealing design with a renewed user interface which featured simplicity without compromising functionality.” Commenting at the time of launch, Markku Suomi, Vice President, Connect devices said that “the Nokia 3710 fold packed in a renewed, but instantly familiar user interface that made an appealing array of features enjoyable to use and offered great value for money.” A key part of the new user interface was the Photo Gallery which allowed users to keep their photos organized, create slide shows or albums, or attach photos to contacts. Suomi continued that he felt there was “solid demand for good-looking, intuitive and easy-to-use handsets with modern features”. When it was launched, the Nokia 3710 fold had an estimated retail price of €140.
