The LG Aloha was an exclusive device for US carrier Virgin Mobile. It was an affordable phone with basic feature and its low-cost positioning was reflected in its lack of an external display.
There was a small red light that blinked through the front flap to show a user that the phone was switched on.
The phone had a 1.5-inch, 65,000 colour display and the backlight colour and font size could be changed. The phone also had support for voice-dialling.
It offered a selection of wallpaper, screen savers, clock styles and various ringtones. Users could also compose a personalised ringtone. The phone included two games: ZooZooClub and Battle Reverse.
Content such as wallpaper could be downloaded and stored on the Aloha’s 3.5MB of internal memory.
When launched on Virgin's prepaid service it cost $34.99.
