The Nokia C2-03 (Type: RM-702) was announced at an event in Singapore. It was described as a product offering “affordability without compromise”.
The phone was powered by Nokia’s Series 40 operating system and was pre-loaded with Nokia Maps which allowed users to view maps and plan routes even when the phone was in offline mode. It also had a stereo FM radio, media player and support for MicroSD memory cards up to 32GB. It used Nokia’s Touch and Type interface allowing input on the physical keys and the touch screen.
At launch, the estimated retail price of the Nokia C2-03 was approximately €75 (US$105).
