The C800’s circular design made it look like a power compact. It has strong similarities to the
Xelibri 6 and the
Panasonic G70 devices which were announced two years earlier.
The phone was more capable than those earlier models and featured an integrated VGA camera, 65k TFT internal colour display and a colour OLED secondary display on the outside of the device. The C800 also supported polyphonic ringtones. It was designed for use on 2G GSM 900/1800MHz networks. The phone was ranged by the Tesco Mobile network in the UK and cost £80 ($100). It was also offered in several other markets around the world.
