The Pantech Duo (model number: C810) was offered by AT&T to attract the growing number of consumers who liked to send e-mails or text messages. This had been fuelled by the growth in BlackBerry devices and other products with a qwerty keyboard.
It used the Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system and had a dual-slider design with a standard phone keypad and a mini qwerty keyboard. It was a 3G-capable device with support for GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz frequencies so it was well suited to global usage.
