The Motorola E815 was an entertainment-centric phone launched in partnership with Verizon Wireless. It was a handset designed to support Verizon’s V CAST service allowing users to access short video content on-demand, including current news, weather, sports and entertainment programming on its 2.2-inch 262k colour display.
Other features included a 1.3-megapixel camera, a basic web browser, calendar, calculator, alarm clock and contact directory that stored up to 1000 contacts. It was designed for use on Verizon’s CDMA 900/1900; 1xEV-DO network.
It was an update to the Motorola V710.
