The Motorola V400 was offered exclusively on the Cingular network in the US.
It had an eight-line, 65,536-color two-inch display and a basic camera. Other features included an alarm clock, a voice recorder, a calculator, a calendar, voice-dialing, text and multimedia messaging (MMS), AOL instant messaging. There were also two Java (J2ME) games pre-installed on the device: Prince of Persia and Bejewled. It also offered rudimentary Internet access via Cingular's 2G GPRS network.
A variant of the V400, the Motorola V400p was developed to support push-to-talk messaging services in Europe.
