Announced
6 June 2019

Weight
233 grams

Features

The Mate 20 X (5G) was Huawei's first commercial 5G phone. It featured the world’s first 7 nanometer 5G multi-mode chipset (the Balong 5000). This was combined with Huawei's Kirin 980 SoC (system on chip).  The phone had a giant 7.2-inch display, underlining Huawei's emphasis on users enjoying content streamed over the new 5G networks at the time. Huawei also offered a stylus as an accessory. The M-Pen was similar to Samsung's S-Pen allowing users to write on the device and iteract with it - for example flipping pages on an e-book app which Huawei said "mimicking the way consumers could read physical books - offering a more authentic reading experience."
