When the N343i was announced it was one of the smallest bar phones on the market. It supported NTT DoCoMo’s i-mode service and was available in a number of markets including Australia, France, Italy, Russia, Spain and the UK. The phone had an attractive design with a glossy white and silver finish with a two-megapixel camera. There was a metallic navigation button which users could swipe over to access menu options on the phone. The phone was announced at the same time as the NEC N411i.
