Features

The QCP 3035 was made by Kyocera for US carrier Sprint. The phone maker described it as combining “a sleek, platinum look with a large, data-friendly screen and advanced phone and wireless data functionality.” It was targeted at “young professionals” who were looking to be informed at work from 9-to-5 and in style from 5-to-9.” The phone featured an eight-line screen and an icon-based menu. It supported “data-centric applications” including email, short messaging and basic Internet browsing. Owners could also buy optional software that would allow them to synchronize their calendars, e-mails and contacts with Microsoft Outlook. Other features included a built-in speakerphone, voice-activated dialling, and voice memo capability. It also had Tegic’s T9 text entry to allow text to be entered more quickly and supported downloadable ringtones. The phone also prominently features the Qualcomm brand above the screen.
