The S335 was a reference design phone for the S335 Ericsson Mobile Platform. Reference design devices are built as a proof of concept for the engine powering a phone to allow for testing ahead of the technology being deployed in commercial products.
The S335 platform was designed by Ericsson Mobile Platforms to be used with low-cost feature phones. It was based on the ARM9 architecture, featuring a 208MHz processor. The platform supported a range of multimedia features, including a camera, video player, and music player. It also supported a variety of connectivity options, including GPRS, EDGE, and Bluetooth.
We believe it was used in several feature phones from different manufacturers, including Sony Ericsson and Samsung. Popular phones that used the S335 platform included the
Sony Ericsson J108i and the Samsung GT-S3350.
We have few other details about this device and would welcome any information people can share.
