Features

The T610 was a breakthrough product for Sony Ericsson. It was a successor to the popular T68i. The phone was a tri-band GSM world phone with a 65k STN colour screen, integrated camera, Bluetooth, Music DJ polyphonic ringtone composer, QuickShare photo sharing, and an optional flash accessory. The T610 included Java and the Mophun game platforms which made it possible for developers to create games for the device (and other Sony Ericsson products). The polyphonic ringtone composer allowed users to mix different combinations of pre-defined beats to create their own unique ringtones.  The QuickShare photo capability was also an important feature allowing users to send pictures they had taken on the device with as few clicks as possible. A US variant of the T610, the Sony Ericsson T616 was also available for the Americas with GSM 850/1800/1900 MHz support for the Americas.
