The Swift 2 was a successor to the
Wileyfox Swift. It was described as having “a balanced flow and elegance to its form” and was available in three finishes: midnight (black), gold and rose.
It had an aviation-grade aluminium metal back and diamond-cut fox logo on the back.
A key differentiator was the use of what the company called “Enhanced Android” which was powered by
CyanogenMod, an open-source operating system based on Android.
The Swift 2 had a 13-megapixel primary camera and included Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology which made it possible to get a 25 percent charge in just 15 minutes.
The company differentiated its offering by selling the phone primarily as a SIM-free device via its website and other online channels, including Amazon. When launched the Swift 2 cost £159 (US$215).
