The company described it as “The fan’s cellphone”. This phone features Sport Club Corinthian Paulista, a team based in Sao Paolo that is one of the most widely supported teams in the world and the second-most supported team in Brazil. It had a service called “Peg & Fale Gol!” which allowed users to keep up to date with their team. Owners could also win their team’s shirt when they topped up the credit on the phone. A further benefit was a 50% discount on calls during match days. The phone also supported the Torpedo SMS service that provided free messages about the world of football including specific updates on the owner’s team. There was also a WAP service that could provide football news on teams in Brazil and around the world.
