The T-Mobile Vairy Text (also known as the Alcatel OT-800) was a basic device designed for users who enjoyed texting. It was described by T-Mobile as a mobile phone that offered a “functional and funky style mobile phone” offering “user-friendly navigation” providing a “wide range of useful functions and features”.
The phone had a two-megapixel camera, a document viewer, an organiser, a calculator and a voice memo feature. It also featured an MP4/MP3 media player and a stereo FM radio with RDS.
