The Sony Ericsson Z310a, and its sister product the
Sony Ericsson Z310i) had a design that was inspired by the
Sony Ericson Z610. The Z310a was a quad-band GSM phone that was sold exclusively in the US by AT&T. The Z310i was offered in the rest of the world and was a tri-band variant.
Although the Z310a was approved by the FCC in the first half of 2007 it did not hit the shelves till September.
The device was available in two colours, Jet Black and Lush Pink, to appeal to both men and women. It will sell at AT&T from now on, for free with a two-year contract, or USD 180 without it.
