The Ericsson A1228d was a phone for use on TDMA networks. It has the same industrial design as the Ericsson A1228c (which was AT&T's first CDMA phone). Other versions of this phone included the R278d, R280di, R280LX and R289LX (LX variants for AT&T Wireless). The handset featured Ericsson’s “EZ-Read” user interface.
