The D900i was a modest upgrade to the Samsung D900 (follow this link to get details). As part of the upgrade, Samsung removed the document viewer and added an FM radio. Other differences were a slightly increased memory and faster camera performance. There were a few other updates such as changes to alert tones for messages and low battery warning.
