The Flight II (model number: SGH-A927) was a device made exclusively for US carrier AT&T by Samsung. It was announced at the same time as the Eternity II.
It featured a three-inch touchscreen device with a horizontal, slide out qwerty keyboard. The home screen could be customised with drag-and-drop widgets. There was also an enhanced social networking service via AT&T’s Social Net which consolidated the most popular social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Myspace into one application.
The phone also supported AT&T’s Mobile TV service which was powered by Qualcomm’s MediaFLO TV service.
