The LG Invision (model number CB630) supported AT&T’s Mobile TV service which was powered by Qualcomm’s
MediaFLO technology. This was able to broadcast more than 150 time-shifted programmes from a variety of companies including CBS, Comedy Central and ESPN.
The AT&T Mobile Music service was also supported, allowing users to download music from eMusic. It was also possible to sideload MP3 audio files. The phone featured a digital radio service from XM Radio Mobile which could stream 25 satellite-radio channels to the phone for $8.99 a month.
The LG Invision had an unusual short and wide design optimised for displaying TV content on its 2.2-inch 65k colour display. The keyboard was also an unconventional layout, with the bottom three keys normally found on a keypad moved to the right-hand side. This made it a little difficult to use at first.
The phone also had a 1.3-megapixel camera and a microSD slot supporting cards up to 8GB.
