The KP3800, which LG referred to as the Biometric Phone, was notable for its built-in fingerprint scanner at the base of the phone and also the optical character recognition software that allowed users to scan contact information from business cards. Other features included stereo speakers, 3D games, a flashlight, and an MP3 player. It was made by LG for KTF, Korea’s second largest mobile carrier at the time.
