The Motorola V3c was a CDMA2000 1xRTT and 1xEV-DO version of the iconicĀ
Motorola Razr V3. It first became available on the Alltel network in the USA and the SaskTel network in Canada in November 2005. More importantly, it became available on the Verizon Wireless network in December 2005 and became a hugely successful product, echoing the success of the original Razr V3. The Verizon variant of the V3c had a bespoke user interface, limiting some of its capabilities including the ability to transfer files via Bluetooth.
It was later offered on many other CDMA networks around the world.
The variant in the Mobile Phone Museum collection has an extended battery.
